NEW MEMBERS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME

The picturesque Loch of Aboyne is the real home of the Aberdeen Water Ski Club where a volunteer committee supports the club on the behalf of the thriving membership.  The Club is run on a voluntary 'not for profit' basis and all the income we generate is invested back into the Club to maintain and improve the facilities for the benefit of the sport and the members.  Our members are all ages, and the level of expertise ranges from beginner through to national competition level.  

     

 Aberdeen Water Ski Club is affiliated to the National Governing Body British Water Ski & Wakeboard (BWSW), and WaterskiScotland.

Our boat drivers are qualified by the BWS Ski Boat Drivers Award (SBDA) and have Red Cross first aid certificates.

         
 Aberdeen Water Ski Club is also a BWSW designated Ski Boat Drivers Award (SBDA)  test centre. The SBDA  is a certificate of competence from the British Water Ski & Wakeboard and is recognised as the standard of boat driving skills throughout the UK. If you feel you have not yet got the appropriate boat driving skills to take the test we can provide additional tuition.

As well as 'just good fun' recreational water skiing, the club supports a broad range of associated activities:

SLALOM - TRICK - WAKEBOARD - JUMP - COMPETITION - INFLATABLES

    And the BIG pull for all these activities comes from a superb Correct Craft 2006 Ski Nautique 196SE competition ski boat equipped with Perfect Pass and Hydra-Glide.

 12:30 to 6:00pm   VISITORS are welcome on Saturday afternoon regardless of age or experience

 SUNDAY

 10:00am to 6:00pm  CLUB MEMBERS ONLY

WEDNESDAY

-

 5:00pm to 9:00pm  CLUB MEMBERS ONLY
 

The Club operates from April to October. However, as the Club relies on volunteer drivers we cannot guarantee that skiing will always be available at these times. Wetsuits, skis and the changing room facilities are available for the free use of members and visitors.  Friendly and informal coaching is always available.  

 
  We can also accommodate Corporate and group bookings..... And your group booking could also combine a water skiing event with some rounds of golf on the adjacent 9-hole Aboyne Loch Golf Centre and refreshment available at the 'Lodge on the Loch'.
